As part of the Coral Sea Academy, a series of innovative events designed to engage people in the marine environment and encourage better boating practices, Coral Sea Marina will host a networking event for women in boating, at Lookout Lounge on Saturday 25.e September, from 3 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.
All women are welcome to this free event, whether they own a boat or not, and can look forward to a relaxing afternoon with light snacks and welcome drinks, inspired by the stories of women in boating industry and enjoying an informal network with other like-minded people. witty women.
The afternoon event will provide women with the opportunity to discover opportunities for support, friendship and guidance through groups such as Women Who Sail, to be encouraged to join the nautical community through from podcaster Nicky Voux, the Boat Princess, and to be inspired by the incredible sailing stories of Wendy Tuck, the first woman skipper to win a round-the-world sailing, with more than 170,000 nautical miles in her logbook :
