HOLLAND – An annual favorite returned to Tulip Time in 2021.

The Dutch Marktplaats is this year’s only large-scale indoor event and includes three exhibits at Holland Civic Center Place, 150 W. Eighth St.

First of all, the original festival market is available to guests. The market includes wooden shoes of various sizes, wooden tulips, sweatshirts, key chains, magnets and other goods.

At the entrance, visitors can take a tour of past festivals, with dozens of Tulip Time posters available in a first exhibition dating back to 1982.

The Dutch dance costume exhibition also debuts for the first time, which features handcrafted costumes and other intricately designed artifacts.

The market is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday to Saturday from May 5 to 8. Timed tickets cost $ 8 per person and are required for entry.

For safety reasons, guests are asked to refrain from visiting if they feel ill or have symptoms of illness. All visitors must wear a mask or face shield and maintain a distance of six feet between themselves and other guests.
